Delegation of a Chinese university visited the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice
On Monday 28th May, at 4pm, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice had the honor to receive the visit of representants of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (SLUAF).
The delegation, led by the Vice-President, Dr. Wan Fengem, first visited the Faculty of Economics and then, at 5pm, the delegation met the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, doc. Tomáš Machula.
During the cordial discussion, that followed the presentation of both universities, participants agreed on the benefits of mutual exchanges of students and academics. The Vice-President Wan Feng especially highlighted the possibility of short and long-term internships for young PhD students at Shanghai University. After the discussion, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed, which confirms the mutual cooperation of both universities and brings better opportunities in the field of student and academic mobility in the future.
SLUAF was founded in 1928 and today, more than 20 000 students study in its three campuses.
The University of South Bohemia cooperates with almost 400 universities from about 70 countries.
